Platoon X of Aerial Recovery’s Heal the Heroes program has launched with an incredible group of female veterans and first responders who came ready to reclaim their strength, restore their peace, and rise into the next chapter of their lives. Over five transformational days, these women stepped into deep healing through movement, mentorship, equine therapy, intention setting, and powerful mindset work that unlocked clarity and courage within each of them. Surrounded by the sacred, restorative environment of the Aerial BVI, they released the weight of the past, rebuilt belief in themselves, and discovered a renewed sense of identity and purpose. United in sisterhood, they now move forward into the yearlong program with confidence, vision, and the unshakeable truth that healed women become leaders who change the world around them. Platoon XI began their Heal the Heroes journey as twenty-two individuals, each carrying their own stories, struggles, and victories. By the end of the retreat’s first phase, they had become a united force, grounded in truth, clarity, and a renewed sense of calling. Over five days, they breathed deeply, released old narratives, faced hard truths with courage, and stepped into the kind of healing that reshapes a life from the inside out. With mentors guiding them, rescue horses reflecting their strength, and a community reminding them they were never meant to heal alone, these Heroes awakened purpose that had been waiting to rise. Platoon XI leaves this first chapter standing taller, rooted in identity, and ready to walk forward with intention and conviction.
